Nowadays, Doménech Hermanos is a family company of the textile industry which dedicates its efforts to the manufacture and commercialization of: Artificial Grass, top quality fitted carpet and technical textiles.

If  Mr. José Doménech, its founder, had been told in 1899 that the company he was about to create would keep on with its activity uninterruptedly for more than a century, he would probable have never imagined it, so, to understand the evolution of the Doménech Hermanos during all these years, it is necessary to go back to that time.

At the end of the 19th century, Mr. José Doménech, carpenter by trade who worked repairing the machine in a hat manufacturer company, had the opportunity to know a type raw material manufacture (rabbit and horse hair) which presented difficulties in its manipulation, being considered as a purely handmade activity.

Applying the knowledge acquired in his work, together with his ability as craftsman, Mr. José Doménech created and designed a set of machines to felt wool. In 1902, the patent of the ingenious invention conceeded to him appears.

Some time later, Rafael, Antonio and José Doménech were born in that felt factory founded by their father, they learnt to love the profession and became fond of a textile industry in constant evolution. In the same way, it was done by their children and the children of their children…

Through honesty, dedication and great pioneer spirit, each generation expanded and improved the inherited factory, to give it later to their descendants, following the values of responsibility and commitment they have been inculcated with.

Doménech Hermanos, as it is common along history, went through different changes and ended up turning into a Corporation on September 1st, 1967. Already in 1975, new technologies were adapted with the possibility to manufacture and commercilize new products.

In 1986, Doménech Hermanos manufactured a wide offer of products, with a freer style, more creative and more innovative.

The commercial habits changed, producing several types of carpets, murals and Artificial Grass. The company, in the twinkling of an eye, has gone into the world of the car industry, footware and decoration, activity which  gave them prestige at a national and international level.

Promoting each one of its products, Doménech Hermanos manages to diversify the markets and accumulate an extense client list. The investment and continuous work are reflected on the constant investment in top quality machinery which their premises house.

Unfortunately, during the dawn of December 30th, 2000, the factory suffers a fierce fire which left everything  reduced to a lot of ash and scrap.

This event made stagger both the mood of the bussinesmen and their collaborators’; but the tradition, the industrial character, the history of the firm and the experience acummulated throughout so many decades were the key to resume the work that has supposed so much effort. Doménech Hermanos gathers faith and hope and embarks on the construction and set a great dream in motion: A textile factory just as the one which existed but with the best technical conditions of the market.

In 2001, the centenary factory started again highlighting due to its industry adapted versatility and modernity, unique in Spain and with an incipient implementation in the technologically most developed countries.

Their premises incorporate:

- The punched Section, for the production of several types of non-knittings.

- The Tufting, Sections, destined for the manufacture of personalized top quality fitted carpet and artificial grass.

-  And some really advanced  finish processes: pre-drying, rame (or reticulation furnace), tundosa, printing, etc. which confer the resistance and final quality to all the products of the firm.

Since then, the products manufactured and the service rendered at the Doménech Hermanos premises differenciate due to their high quality and fastness, taking the company to live its best moment and to keep on growing.

With 125 years of history, Doménech Hermanos keeps on dedicating its work to the progress of the textile industry, having turned into an important referent of the sector.
